This course is suitable for workers in the health and social care sectors. It also provides a basic level training for all staff. It is designed for anyone who encounters adults at risk of abuse in the community, in a person’s own home, in a hospital, in a day care or residential setting. This includes formal and informal carers, volunteers, health and social care professionals.

How to register

Once you’ve found a course and a date suitable for you, you will be asked to register for the course.

You will have to pay a fee if your agency is not a financial contributor to the running of the Safeguarding Board.

Please complete a registration with your own details, as this will ensure Certificates of Attendance are in your name, and not that of someone who may have booked on your behalf.
